Audi RS4 Avant (wagon) caught without disguise

While it's no secret that Audi plans to build a wagon version of the RS4, a German car enthusiast was pretty surprised today when he saw a completely undisguised Audi RS4 Avant on the streets of Chemnitz. Audi must be ready to make an announcement very soon, since it's not often you see a bright red prototype on public roads. Unfortunately, Fourtitude says not to expect the RS4 Avant to arrive on American shores. While hotrod wagons are gaining some ground in the U.S., Audi says its sedans outsell Avants at a rate of more than 10:1. So what other high-powered wagons are on the horizon for car enthusiasts with kids? Well, BMW is hard at work on an M5 wagon, and Mercedes and Dodge already offer some impressive vehicles here in North America.
