Update: the images are now available free online folowing a brief ad. It looks like the Rolls-Royce 100EX Cabriolet concept first shown at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show will make it to production. If spy photos in the December issue of Motor Trend are any indication, development is moving well, and the car could debut as early as this January's Detroit Motor show. The car is expected to feature the same 6.7-litre/453-hp V-12 engine that propels its Phantom sibling from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.9 seconds. It will feature an all-aluminum chassis. The prototype seen here has a different rear end than the 100EX, but the sloping front grill has been maintained. Upon close inspection, the spy photos reveal that the two-door cabriolet features a suicide door configuration, meaning the doors hinge at the back rather than the front of the opening.
