Workers at GM’s assembly plants in Oshawa, Ontario voted over 70 percent in favor of job cuts on Friday, in a moved aimed at securing a contract to build the new Chevrolet Camaro, reports Reuters. The plant is also expected to be used for the new Impala, Monte Carlo, Pontiac GTO, and Buick Statesman.

awesome.
The union workers must be getting hungry from being out of work for so long.
I was a member of the UFCW and when crunch time came they gave the company everything it wanted as long as the weekly union dues kept rolling in.
All we need in this county is a worker bill of rights and it would make unions even more useless.
UAW got what they ask for… American car companies building cars over the border and the worlds car companies building cars here with non union labor. 1+1=2
UAW is a problem. However, as long as health care in the US is so expensive, the free one in Canada is much cheaper for GM.
