Lincoln breaking into young(er) demographic?

When Lincoln talks about reaching out to a younger audience, they're not talking about teens. They're not even talking about twenty-somethings. The sweet spot, it seems, is the the 30-54 range. Although the average age for a Lincoln buyer is currently 60, Ford hopes that number will fall with the help of hip cars like the Zephyr (soon to be "MKZ"). According to a survey by Harris Interactive, cited by Automotive News, "most" of the respondents aged 30-54 said they would consider a Lincoln for their next car. An earlier survey put the consideration rate at just 38 percent.
