New mystery GMs: Opels? Saabs?

Today, GM announced it had opened a new European Design Center in Rüsselsheim, Germany. "Design is already one of the most crucial elements of our business and will continue to be in the future," said Carl-Peter Forster, president of GM Europe. "Therefore, our new facility provides our designers with the location, atmosphere and tools they need to maximize the creative process and design our future vehicles." But perhaps more interesting than the announcement itself are the images GM released today from the new facility. After the jump you will see seven images of what look to be three different cars. The first three images shown an unknown convertible/roadster that we speculate might be a much-rumored Saab Kappa platform vehicle. The rest of the images show two frontal shots of vehicles that look to be Opels (in at least one image, an Opel badge is visible). See all the images after the jump...
