Majority of SUV owners unswayed by gas prices

A recent poll by CNN found that 63 percent of SUV owners would make the same vehicle purchasing choice today as they did when gas prices were lower. 35 percent said they wouldn't buy the same vehicle, considering recent gas prices. In the same survey, 11 percent of SUV owners said it costs less than $40 to fill their tank, 51 percent said it costs $40-$60, 28 percent said it cost $60-$80, 6 percent said it cost $80-100, and 3 percent said it cost over $100.
