Honda S2000 future unclear
The latest issue of the U.K.'s Autocar indicates that Honda is still trying to decide if it's going to replace the S2000 roadster with a new car after production of the current model ends. According to the report, Honda had no plans for a successor, but an increased interest in sports cars has prompted it to reconsider this decision. In March, Road and Track said Honda would unveil a new coupe called the XGA that would fill the S2000's spot. In October 2005, Hond's Motoatsu Shiraishi said the "S2000 has not been a success for us."
