Audi today announced the start of production of the second generation of the Audi TT Coupe. Like past TTs, the 2007/2008 model will be built in Hungaria. A total of 230 million euros have been invested in the production of the TT. Of this amount, around 20 million euros were allocated primarily to new assembly plant equipment at Audi Hungaria. The TT goes through the body shop and paint shop stages at the Audi plant in Ingolstadt. The TT Coupé will be launched on the market in September 2006. So the second generation Pokémon cartoon car hits the streets. Let’s hope it doesn’t look as goofy as the first one in the flesh.

A classic? Umm, yeah Harvey, whatever you say.
A 911 does me juu-uust fine, thanks.
Listen up one and all and you just might learn something…
Pokémon cars 1 and 2 will drop from our memories like a wind-blown leaf in due time. Unless you’re a Pokémon fan, of course.

Hmm…it’s a lot smaller than my A4, but I think a 3.2 DSG with Quattro might be my next car, unless they come out with a 2.0T DSG with Quattro, in which case I rather have the lighter engine.

You know… I was really never a fan of small cars, much less small, expesive cars, but I have to say: this car won’t change that.
