This is more of a Mustang marketing blurb than a short that could touch the The Legend that is Shelby. Not even one mention of any of the 1960s race triumphs. Hey Ford, remember the GT-40, the Cobras and the Daytona Coupe??? That is the legend stuff, and you should be proud of it. Who cares if you beat Corvettes, you beat Ferrari; and Shelby helped you do it.

I will give them credit for apologizing for the ****e of the 70s and 80s. They did leave out the 90’s and they still made ****e back then as well.

Wonderful. I hope lots of people like that one car and buy a lot of them.

Still the only interesting car in Ford’s lineup.

Carroll has worked with all of the big three at one time or another.

Omni GLH
Viper
Series one with the olds aurora motor in it.

But I guess he has does have the most to do with ford then the others and the most influence there. They really do need to mention the GT40 and REAL cobra in future episodes.

The Ford GT40 was more British than American.

Mr. Carroll Shelby is an absolute legend that is a waste! And believe me I am a lFORD man! Carroll is a guy that has more history and triumphs then most automanufacturers have! There should me a serries dedicated to just his life and time

The GT40 was a Lola, but it had a Ford motor and was paid for by Ford. Say what you want. Shelby stuck his head in the door, said it looked cool, and boom….. legend.

despite the fact that the GT-40 was british it is still linked to Shelby so they should have featured it.

unless ford actually do some of this bold moves stuff they are gonna die

i remember when the GT was coming out they couldnt call it the GT40 because someone owns the rights to the name. maybe that guy coudlnt let them use the GT40 in the video. or maybe ford is just trying to push the mustang…

Ford needs to concentrate on other cars before making 500+ hp Mustangs

This guy should have worked with a real company like GM. Then he would be a real legend. Now he’s just some nobody who did a few jobs for Ford. His mistake. He probably would be more impressive if he were on the development team for superior GM products like the Vette, GTO, Solstice, Sky, Trailblazer SS, and Cobalt SS.

Yay, so he built a couple of Fords. Whoopdie doo. Id’ still rather have a Chevy

Interesting. Shelby is a legend, imo, but not for Mustangs. Anyways I guess Ford is really reaching. Hoping to spark a flame somewhere. This ad does not convince me to buy a Ford. The Mustang? Maybe, but those are selling well anyway.
