Video: New BMW 3-Series folding roof in action

Yesterday, we brought you the first images and details on the 2007 BMW 3-Series convertible, which will go on sale early next year. The car marks a world first the German automaker, with its three-piece electronically-operated retractable hard-top.

The roof can be raised or lowered via the car's remote, with the whole process taking around 20 seconds. The hardtop design provides a much larger rear window than a traditional canvas-top convertible, while still maintaining a reasonable amount of storage space of luggage.
