Updated Ford Focus to arrive in Detroit

Ford will reveal a facelifted version of the existing Focus range at the Detroit auto show, according to SmartMoney. Ford spokesman Jim Cain, in an interview Wednesday, said the company is planning to show off the refreshed Focus for the 2008 model year at a time when "small cars are the hottest cars going."

As previously reported by Leftlane and evidenced by our recent spy photos, Ford will also reveal a two-door coupe version of the new Focus. Both the sedan and coupe will get Ford's new signature three-bar grille. Both vehicles will also get some interesting detailing to the side panels, with a bold character line that sweeps up from the front wheel well to the' beltline, and on to the rear deck.
