It looks better than previous Durangos…

Answer me this..why do car companies..regardless if affiliated with each other, always lean toward other designs, take it, slap a new grill on it, some new tail lights and call it an ASPEN?? When are they going to stop being LAZY and ACTUALLY design something that doesn’t look like another car/SUV? I find it so ridiculous!!! Who cares if the interior was “redesigned”. EVERYONE notices the outside before the inside so why not make it look more appealing?

I swear before I knew the damn name of the Aspen I though Dodge “redesigned” the Durango. Everywhere you look vehicles, big/small look like another..

COME ON CAR COMPANIES….HAVE A MIND OF YOUR OWN AND ACTUALLY SIT AND DESIGN SOMETHING INSTEAD OF “REDESIGNING” ANOTHER….

Not really much change i have a 2005 durango and it dosent look that much different. Dodge really needs to do something or I think the durango is going to stop being made.

You are all correct… it’s gone from polarizingly ugly to unnoticeably boring. And yes, these changes were made to accommodate the even more boring Aspen. It looks as though DCX is returning to the days of the rebadged, free from any sort of personality K cars. I’m done with their schlocky designs and Fisher-Price gray plastic interiors.

This is one plain, featureless SUV. Buy a Chevy Tahoe if you don’t need a 3rd row seat, and a Nissan Armada if you do.

Don’t like this front, and the last one was the wrong front. If they produced something more like the M80 front end (see link below), I think they would sell every single one they can make. Again, great concept, bad, bad execution.
