#5, if the European automakers can meet safety and emission standards with their cars, then why not Ford with their European models?

Being a rental agent for SIXT Germany, I had enough time to test all European Ford models.
I can tell you, never buy a german Ford.
Bad workmanship and not satisiying handling make these cars a no-go.
Among all the other cars SIXT offers, I would never choose a Ford.
Sorry guys, but this is the truth.

Bill – you’re cloudbrained and ignorant. Smell that coffee mate! JohnnyBlazE – I agree – I’m currently driving a Focus 2.0 Duratorq hatch, best car I’ve ever owned. I’ve had a C200K, a rather nice 525i and a Jag many moons ago, but this latest crop of Fords is amazing.

Now I live in Cape Town, South Africa – we only get Ford Europe’s goods down here, apart from the Falcon & Territory (Australia) and the F250 (USA.) More interesting is the fact that this new Focus is actually assembled here, not in Germany as speculated!

Anyways, I reckon if hither new Mondeo slips out next year with only 10% of the Iosis’ style I’ll buy one in my sleep!

PLEASE GOD will them – dump the 3.2 in it!!!

NO wait, even better – toss the new 4.4 Volvo V8 in it!!!

I think it ha smore to do with America requiring more standards in safety and emissions and such to be met than Europe than it has to do with the Europe/American sections makin gAmerican versions of the european cars would be nice though….

Ford UK have had diesels for sooooo long its not even funny… and then they came up with their TDCi which is beautiful.

They can only progress you’d think, but their latest diesels are Peugeot-based…

However, the Duratorq units are still top notch, Pug based or not.

Did you know they have a 2 litre duratorq Fiesta ST TDCi? Mint! Torquey as hell
