Ford has announced the 2007 Harley-Davidson edition F-150 Super Crew. The limited edition pickup features a monotone piano black exterior accented with a hot-rod inspired custom scalloped stripe running along the beltline. To further the high-gloss exterior are 22-inch polished aluminium wheels and chrome details which are carried into the interior. The instrument panel is now complete with chrome rings on dials to match the chrome handles, vent rings, floor shifter, and door pedals. This is the ninth Ford truck to carry the Harley-Davidson name and stays true to its roots with a 5.4-liter three-valve Triton V8 engine. The new engine turns out 300 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 365 foot-pound of torque at 3,750 rpm. Also included in this release is the option to choose between either 4×2 or all-wheel-drive versions. Gallery after the jump…

The old one was supercharged and cranked out 340hp. Shouldn’t new models be making some sort of progress?

Gotta love how Harleys used to be a symbol of rebellion and now are the icon of comformity.

I would think they’d only be an icon of conformity if Toyota came out with a Harley-Davidson version of its Corolla. It seems to almost be rebellion to buy anything Ford these days, even its F-series pickup (at least according to the press).

Nice looks, but even if I did want a high performance pickup… how is this going to deter me from a Dodge Ram SRT with a detuned Viper engine? Considering that truck has set a semi-standard for this kind of product, why isn’t a version of the Ford GT supercharged 5.4L or Shelby 5.4L with 500HP offered?
It’s silly anyway.
Where are your new cars, Ford?

Very good looking, but I was hoping I could see pictures of the front of the cab. If someone has a link that shows pictures of the front of the cab I would love to see those.
Craig, I thought they discontinued that overgrown Ram because of emitions from the Viper engine?
WHATS the use of a pickup if your scared to get a scratch on it??
This truck is cool, kept simple and practical. But there are enough variations of Ford cars (the mustang has more variations then there are cars being produced by Ford). Just bring out good NEW cars, not more variations.

Trucks transcend class boundaries because they are utilitarian. This, though,is a showpiece, primarily.Once demented neighbours catch wind of this thing parked on your property, they will probably make it their mission in life to drop heavy floor mounted industrial machinery on your new truck.

The previous Harley Davidson edition had 340 hp supercharged engine because the SVT Lightning was in production at the time. There isnt a current SVT verison right now, thats why they are stuck with 300 hp engine. U want more power? Get the Roush verison

Yeah because when 6 figure Joe rides through his gated community he’s a real “rebel”. Give me a break, Harleys are made, and marketed towards the upper class, and this F-150 is a great example of that.

Since when was the last harley been scene as bad ass bike, like 25 years ago! All there models are bloated for fat-ass rich people, this truck is boring, it just has a bunch of logos on it, its almost like a ricer. Too bad harley emblems don’t equal more power!

Harley Davidson is rubber stamping YOU living in a storage locker with a Sporty. That is what I was referring to.Not half bad advice if China decides to pop the clutch on some of their nuclear monkeys leaving you with a dead wife and a mouthful of dirt.Read carefully, then digest.

As an employee of Ford Credit, I got to see an up close and personal view of the Harley Edition of the F150. It is big, bad, bold, and beautiful and is loaded with amenities. Out of all of the pickups that I’ve reviewed or test driven, the quality and the design of the interior is unmatched with it’s plush leather seating that seems to wrap you up, and it’s state of the art ****pit. It handles well with minimal road noise and truly makes you feel like you’re the King of The Road. Although I am not crazy about the orange exterior piping and would like to see it offered in colors other than black, overall, this pickup is the real deal. As the old saying goes, this is not your daddy’s Ford.
