I saw the vehicle at Salon Prive. It is a fine piece of engineering and worthy of its place on the market. With a reliable proven engine it has a positive future. Stelliga has purposely held the production back to address customer feedback from its prototype (GT2)and as a result it should be good straight out of the box. An interesting alternative to the mainstream.

2007 Marcos TSO GTC and R/T

What looks to be trying to take the place of TVR (ain’t gonna happen,) the 2007 Marcos TSO GTC was unveiled today at the Salon Prive private Luxury and Supercar Show in Britain. Estimated to cost between $80,000 and $90,000

Yeah but it wont break down like a TVR! Tony Stelliga,owner of Marcos,being canadian born now living in California makes this likely to make it stateside. This is also available in a T-TOP,(pistonheads.com)Lets see Vette engine,Pro-Drive chassis,whats not to like?

This car looks like a TVR because it was design by a person who recently worked for TVR. Still look nice though. If only Shelby tuned this into the new cobra

I guess the 1998cc pushrodded B20 Volvo engine (used in the original Marcos) wasn’t enough for this newer version of the Marcos–the new one obviously weighs a crapload more, as do all cars these days.

Looks like a present day ShelbyCobra Daytona Coupe. Pretty nice lines although I do prefer the original look… superformance.com does an awesome repro that seems right inline with this level of performance and style.

The overhangs are a bit too generous for the design front and rear, IMHO. It’s the only negative of an otherwise quite nice design.

i see alot of the Shelby GR1 in it. but this is cleaner and better looking. i really like the rear 3/4 shot.

Really nice car, I love the shape and that “less is more” style.

Hopefully the guys working on The Lamborghini Miura Concept will take note of this car… Take the GTC and Lambo it up a little and you have a really nice ride.

Top Gear has tested the Marcos. They test drove the Marcos TSO GT2 instead of the GTC as seen here. I don’t know the difference, but it looks the same.
