We’ve received a photo purportedly of the 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift. While we cannot guarantee its authenticity, it appears to jive with recent rumors. (Note the modified lower fascia, with sharpened edges and revised lamps). Previously, we reported that Mercedes was planning to release a facelifted version of the E-Class in 2006. In addition sharpening the cars appearance, the update will address some of the quality problems that have been plaguing the sedan since its launch in 2003. An all-new E-Class will likely be sold as a 2009 model, and will feature an all-new interior and exterior. The Leftlane Perspective: On one hand, it makes sense for Mercedes to update the E-Class with its new, sharper design language. However, the sharp corners seem to conflict with the vehicle’s otherwise rounded and bulbous appearance. See the full image plus a comparison photo after the jump…

It’s a psychotic spider grin.
It will kill you if you drive in front of it.
It does look better than the current one, although a bit freakish.

Very subtle, but not like it needed much anyways, from what I can tell most of the changes are going to be underneath; from the front just a new airdam?
