2007 Mercedes CL AMG package revealed

06/30/2006, 8:01 PM

By admin

Images have surfaced online of the 2007 Mercedes CL 600 AMG package. Not to be confused with the forthcoming CL 65 AMG, the car is a standard CL 600 with upgraded wheels, brakes, and a body kit. We assume the kit will be available for the 2007 CL 500 and CL 600, though final details are not available. Gallery after the jump…

Looking good! Now if Dr. Z is right, we can start buying these babies in 2 years when supposely Mercedes will exceed Lexus in reliability.

I think with the amg body kit, the car look less chubby and has a lower stance. BMW designers are probably scratching their heads now!

I must agree. This body kit makes this car look WAY better. As much as I criticize Mercs, they’re high-end models still seem worth about 1/2 – 3/4 of the asking price. Now if they only extended this type of quality DOWN THE LINE…

…not to be confused with the real deal AMG jammie action. That car will will be legendary. German twin-turbo V12’s always are.

I have a S550 and its Worth every penny, but I can’t wait for the CL to get release. Maybe I switch to the CL or just replace the wife’s Cayenne with one of these. “She doesn’t use it that often”

I will be disapointed if the end car doesn’t look like this. This kit should be standard for both the CL and S-class

Now everyone changes their minds, oh my, it’s still the same car guys; it was beautiful before and it’s still beautiful now. Enthusiasts should know a body kit and wheels don’t make or break a car.

listen, i work for a mercedes dealership, i dunno if you guys understand how fast a cl65 is…. the thing creates 738 ft/lb of torque at only 2000 rpm!!!! its accererates the same way at higher speed too. its very easy to get to 120 without noticing it, and this is in the USA where thats not easy…
As for the rest of the line…even something like an e350 gets 0-60 in 6.5 seconds…. pretty good for a sedan.

lexus doesn’t got anything on mercedes when it comes to speed and torque

Is it just me or does the rear look really high off the ground in the first pic??.. regardless this might have even better presence than the CLS on the road.

Looks like a Camry Solara with a body kit on it… It’s a shame what MB did to the CL; it use to be a beautiful coupe… Better luck next time.

Mercedes-Benz is trying to go for the super luxury car like Bentley or Rolls Royce. The current model looks fantastic; we’ll just see if the people who buy the CL Class is going to like it since the average age here in Newport Beach is 60.

This Chrysler or Merc I mean looks butt ugly. Think what other cars you could have for the money this pig will cost you.

Oh i forgot it’s German so I am supposed to follow you losers like sheep to the slaughter and say it looks good, no way it’s wank!!!

Ha ha to all you coons and pakis who have no individual personalities… apologies to those ethnic persons who don’t just buy a car cause someone mentioned the word Benz in some loser hip hop song.

As my girl friend says, any bloke who drives a German car is definately size challenged in the groin area!!!!!

With the standard CL, the tail lights to look unfit for the body… see: BMW 5 series. But, this AMG package does somehow give the lights more size, or at least the illusion of such.
All in all, I do think this car is beautiful.

Yah… let’s talk about the paradigm of patriarchy and how many “coons and pakis” can really afford to buy such cars… what in the hell do you know? Do you know how WWII ended? Are you so bloody self-enraptured that you choose to hurt with words that come from a compassion-starved existence such as yours? May I suggest you use your phallic obsession to fill all! the holes in your life – if you’re intelligent enough to get the drift…
