It’s a chubby bunny, but if VW can get it to the US with at least one diesel engine, they might gain some ground in the small MPV segment.

Doesn’t look bad, but I’m not a fan off the Crossover look. I can only think about how it has raised CG, roll height, etc.

Guess I’m not their target market. Have all the car buyers in this country gotten so old and/or fat that they can’t fit in anything that has a roof height of less than 72 inches?

The Crossfox is not related to the Lupo in any way apart from the fact that they are both VWs
The Crossfox is a Jacked up and decorated Fox

Its got the wrong body on it.. The put the Golf Plus bodu on it instead of the GTi body

Chubby. In reference to the earlier postings concerning the longevity and quality of VW’s, I’m pretty torn at the moment. Have a 2002 Passat GLX in the shop right now for the infamous 80K service ($1600!! Yikes!!) That said, it does seem like they scrimp on a lot of the “behind the scenes” details. My confidence is a little shaken. It’s never let me down, but I just have to wonder when it’s going to. And cost me thousands in the process. If I was driving a Honda, I don’t think I’d fret over it much.

Hypothetically, it SHOULD keep going really well for another 60K miles, at the very least.

Overall, I like the shape, and I really like the interior. But I really don’t get what they’re trying to convey with all the gray and silver plastic crap along the bottom of the car. Is it supposed to look like brush guards or something? Do they want us to belive it’s some sort of tough off-roader? The Volvo XC90 strikes me the same way. So it’s got an extra inch or two of ground clearance; in the real world, that might come in handy for the occasional drive off a curb, but the rest of the time, all that does is raise the center of gravity, which does nothing for the ride or handling of the car. VW—if you’re going to build an off-roader, then build an off-roader. Otherwise, concentrate on making good road cars.

BTW—in case y’all are wondering, I drive an ‘03 VW Passat that I really like.

unfortunatly due to recent issues with my current VW I will never buy another VW EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it really that hard to not try and save cash by using cheaper then normal parts liek oh a waterpump with a plastic impeller, a window clip without a plastic piece to replace the metal one, acoilpack without cheap plastice pieces.

I have been nickle and dimed to death on stupid little items over and over, but I digress.

This car is ugly.
