tryed X5,xc90,ML 400cdi and the final conclussion was Volvo. I got scarried in ML, by the unsecurity feeling durring accelerations reprise ,felt like in an OLD NISSAN PATROOL on the highway. But the handelling feeling in VOLVO is perfection.confidence,power,smootness.

I agree – they say the Volvo range has some of the nicest feel about it…the best cars to be in they say.

Still, to each their own… Volvo done gooood.

Yo steve! Where ya been for the last 10 years mate? In the mid 90’s I would have agreed with you – the epitome of invalid taste was a beige Volvo 960 wagon, but if you’d noticed the degree of change since then, which obviously you didn’t, you dolt, a Volvo now is a far nicer machine to be in than a Benz. (Whose quality control of late is Koreanesque sub-par.)

XC90 vs. ML? No contest twat – the ML gets an arse cramp if it just sees a corner.
XC90 vs. X5? Good question – BMW refined, corners nicely but soggy ‘n uncomfortable.
XC90 vs. Q7? Well now, Q7 is a bit $$$er and uglier but they perform equally well.

XC90 is basically the king of the so-called ’soft roaders,’ beaten only categorically by better offerings from Land/Range Rover and genuine estate cars.

Oh, and by the way, ‘Volvo’ is Swedish for: “Get out of my sodding way you peasant?”

Executives who want one of the safest luxury SUV’s money can buy… With sharp looks and a well appointed interior, the XC90 is a winner.

One of the nicest SUV’s on the market. Too bad gas prices are out of control. That factor alone will probably hurt any future success of the XC90.
