Production Dodge Challenger to debut in 12 months

Chrysler will unveil the production version of the 2009 Dodge Challenger 356 days from today (Feb 15). It will be unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2008, the company said today.

First revealed as a concept vehicle at the North American International (Detroit) Auto Show in 2006, Chrysler Group announced this past summer that the 2008 Dodge Challenger would be going into production next year.

To the delight of Canada, the Chrysler Group announced at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto that the Challenger will be built at the Brampton, Ontario assembly plant. The Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Magnum are also assembled in Brampton.
