And what’s with the comment that I’M on here “day after day, year after year”? I NEVER get on this site on: weekends, holidays, or after 4:00 when I leave work. As a matter of fact, I don’t even get on the internet or even watch tv for that matter when I get off from work unless something damn good is on. I usually leave, play pool and have a few drinks at a bar, go grocery shopping or go home to work on my Road Runner, unless I have a girl over. So, I honestly don’t give a $H!T about your comments, they’re pretty funny. You’re all just little pissy @$$’s because I don’t agree with the American economy going down the $H!TTER because of it constantly being sold out to foreign companies. I got news for you, once our economy has collapsed, hopefully it won’t, do you think japan and all these other foreigners will still want to stay here? I think not. Anyway, I’ve got $H!T to do today si I can leave early and meet with some REAL LIFE friends and go to the Chrysler’s at Carlisle show in PA.

I don’t think even the lesser models will do well. Personally I find it as an overpriced, low quality piece of junk, and where Chrysler could have had a lot more opportunity that they unfortunately and not surprisingly, didn’t take.

Chrysler has had plenty of opportunities. They could have reinvested in the PT Cruiser, a car that had a real sense of design and was reasonably priced, but they let that die after a few years with only a minor refresh and a couple different variations. This could have been a great opportunity to really replace the nice but aging, underpowered Crossfire, and although in business practice they did, I honestly don’t see them taking that chance. Even the original concepts interior was crap. Sure, it’s got all the power goodies, but how about fuel economy? I may be alone with this, but seeing Chrysler only release the higher powered models gives me the mindset it’s not meant to compete with Mustang/Camaro, specialty vehicle more or less. The current Mustangs interior is better.

And yeah, I understand your not meant to focus on the interior so much, but I can’t help it looking at planned production numbers. Are they trying to squeeze pennies here?

As to the overstock of SRT8 Challies Big Surprise! This would have been a great move a couple years ago but obviously with high gas prices & high mark-ups there’s going to be few takers. Just Hardcore Fans. Maybe the lesser models may do well when they come out.
