No, the front end looks like the last generation Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero with all the chrome and all. Ford designers can do better than this. Don’t waste development money on models that look like “old” cars.

I agree, Ford SUV’s suck. The Escape should be thrown out of the plan with the new Edge coming anyway.

I don’t like Ford’s corporate truck grille and headlights. They are too blocky and 1980’s. Lack of imagination.

Hard to tell from the small photo, but seems to be a step up over the current version. The leap required? No, but a step up. I question the wisdom, in an age when everyone else is trying to do more carlike crossovers, of making your crossover look more like the slowly selling, larger Explorer though…
