The 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution X will get a dual-clutch gearbox similar to the DSG system offered by Volkswagen on everything from its Golf compact to subsidiary Bugatti ’s Veyron supercar, according to the U.K.’s Car magazine. While no specific details were given, customers can expect to see the technology in showrooms next year. As reported earlier this month, the new Lancer will debut in the U.S. somewhere around late spring 2007 — possibly at the New York Auto Show in April, or even a preview at the Detroit show in January.
