TT actually stands for Tourist Trophy. Just like Oliver said. I wonder if the TT has a bigger engine bay than the new MK5 R32. VW has reported problems fitting the 3.6l into the car for the US. I’m kinda bummed, I kinda wanted the 4door model with a 3.6l and DSG…

O well, just gonna keep my current R32 then.

TT doesn’t stand for Twin Turbo. There’s never been a twin turbo TT production model (the bi-motor MTM is another story). There’s even a TT without any turbo: The 3.2.

Y’know, with the TT being as light as it is, it really would be fine with a 300HP V6 – right up there with the benchmark 350Z. And with a slick-shifting six-speed manual gearbox, combined with that trick 40:60 Quattro AWD system, it does have the potential to become a good car.

But the thing is, I want this to be more than just ‘good’. 350HP 3.6L V6, 1300kg, six-speed, Quattro, two seats, agressive styling. BAM! You’ve got yourself a winner. That would be a great car – one that can take it up to the Z4 M Coupe, Porsche Cayman S and the SLK55 AMG. And potentially beat them.

You are all stupid, the Name “TT” has nothing to do with turbos, let alone twin turbos, and the V8 from the RS4 would never fit!!! that is just asinine to suggest such a thing. if we are lucky it will have one turbo.
