2012 Nissan Rogue gains Around View monitor
Nissan has added more cameras to its compact crossover.
Nissan's compact crossover has been a sales hit for the automaker, and now it's about to become more value-laden for the new model year.
The Japanese automaker has added a new Special Edition package that brings with it 16-inch alloy wheels, an audio system with a 4.3-inch color display and USB input and a rearview camera for $1,200.
The range-topping SL package, meanwhile, ups the ante with an Around View monitor system that provides a 360 degree view of the vehicle through the central monitor. The Around View parking aid is a non-luxury segment first, Nissan says.
All Rogues also gain a new sport mode for their transmissions, new alloy wheels for some trim levels and a Graphite Blue scheme is added to the color palette.
