Fiat launches limited edition 500 "Pink Ribbon" to benefit breast cancer research

Fiat has partnered with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation to create the 2012 500 "Pink Ribbon".

Fiat has teamed with the The Breast Cancer Research Foundation to create a limited edition 500 "Pink Ribbon" model. Fiat will donate $1,000 to the BCRF for every 2012 500 Pink Ribbon sold and has committed to a minimum donation of $50,000.

Based on the 2012 Fiat 500 Lounge model, the Pink Ribbon edition is available in silver or white with a unique dark pink body stripe. The car features a black interior with pink accents, including pink stitching and pink ribbons embroidered on the floor mats.

"We are honored to partner with an upstanding organization like The Breast Cancer Research Foundation that supports a cause so important to our consumers and our company," said Laura Soave, Head of FIAT North America. "The Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon edition offers our FIAT consumers a unique and stylish way to express their support, help fund breast cancer research and ultimately drive change."

Fiat plans to produce just 250 units of the Pink Ribbon model, with sales slated to kick off next month. The 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon will carry an MSRP of $22,500, which includes a $500 destination charge.
