The online configurator for the 2013 Lincoln MKZ is up and running, complete with full pricing and options information. Although the fine print on the site cautions that the info is "for survey purposes only," the configurator nonetheless provides a good idea of what to expect from Lincoln's new midsize luxury sedan when it launches later this year.

Five trim levels are listed on the site, with base prices ranging from $36,800 for the entry-level Premiere trim to $45,125 for a Preferred model with the MKZ's unique sliding glass roof (all prices include destination). All models come standard with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder with 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.

A hybrid powertrain is available for no extra charge, while a 3.7-liter V6 with 300 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque is a $1,230 option throughout the range. All-wheel-drive can be had for an extra $1,890 with the EcoBoost four or the V6.

Notable standard features on the Premiere include leather upholstery, genuine wood trim, heated seats, MyLincoln Touch with an eight-inch touchscreen, remote start, push-button start and 18-inch painted aluminum wheels. Highlights from the options list include a 14-speaker, 700-watt THX sound system, adaptive cruise control and rear inflatable seatbelts.
