Elon Musk: 'I'm building a cyborg dragon'

The executive is known for actually pursuing his humorous ideas, including the Boring Co flamethrower and launching his Tesla Roadster into space.

Perhaps bored with the day-to-day grind at Tesla, SpaceX and now The Boring Company, Elon Musk is apparently working on an interesting new hobby.

"Oh btw I'm building a cyborg dragon," he casually wrote on Twitter.

Such a comment could be easily dismissed as a tongue-in-cheek joke from any other executive. Musk has a reputation for following through with such ideas, however.

I know … such an underserved market

The ambitious executive brought the Boring Co flamethrower to market, quickly selling out of 20,000 units and helping raise money for the tunneling startup.

He was also not joking when first proposing to launch his Tesla Roadster into space. The EV was used as a dummy payload for the Falcon Heavy test launch, serving as an attention-grabbing foreground as video streamed the rocket's departure from Earth.

For now, Musk has declined to provide any more information about his dragon project.
