Driver arrested after boulder falls from truck, killing two

Police say it is was not clear if the truck driver realized the 800-pound boulder dropped from his truck.

A man has been arrested in Minnesota after a boulder fell from his truck and smashed into another vehicle, killing two women.

Police charged Joseph Czek with four felony counts of criminal vehicular homicide, according to an AP report. Bail was set at $70,000.

Czek was allegedly driving near Rosemount, Minnesota when the 800-pound rock dropped from the truck. The victims are said to have died at the scene.

A local police chief told AP it was not clear if he was aware the boulder had fallen.
