There IS rap out there that is geniuenly high quality music, not all of its is 50 cent, there's stuff out there like Public Enemy, Run DMC, Tupac, Big Pun, Big L, Notorious BIG, Kanye West, Nas, Jay Z, etc etc. Rap that has intricate rhyme schemes, uses alliteration, focuses on inspirational messages of aboloshing prejudice and hate, and shows talent in a variety of manners. Don't judge it all. RIcardo Head, the reason people love Tupac is he had songs FULL of amazing messages, like Changes for example, songs that provided inspirational hope for many, that someday society won't turn its back on those urban poor, that someday prejudice can be eliminated from everyday life.
