9ff Convertible sets drop-top speed record
By adminThe Porsche 911-based 9ff Convertible has set a world record for the highest top speed achieved by a convertible, the tuner announced today. The 780 horsepower 911 is capable of hitting 300km/h or 188 mph in just 11 seconds.
At a special event held by Continental and Auto Bild, the 9ff Convertible managed to hit 380 km/h or 238 mph — an apparent world record for a convertible sports car. Gallery after the jump…
