Rap artist Cam’ron thwarts Lamborghini carjacking

10/24/2005, 12:26 AM

New York hip-hop artist Cameron “Cam’ron” Giles was driving his royal blue 2006 Lamborghini and wearing what a friend later described as $200,000 worth of diamonds and other jewelry when he became victim of a would-be carjacking. At 12:17 a.m., Giles stopped at a light at New York and New Jersey avenues, according to the D.C. police. Two men in a burgundy Ford Expedition sport-utility vehicle pulled alongside. Police said one man got out of the SUV, armed with a gun. The man reportedly tried to take the Lamborghini but Giles cursed at him and sped away. That’s when the man fired the gun and shot Giles in both arms, police said.

“50 cent has outsold the Beatles”

Here’s the list from RIAA itself:
http://www.riaa.com/gp/bestsellers/topalbums.asp

You were right about 50 Cent outselling the Beatles but you assume he beat The Beatles’s best album ever and in that you’re wrong. 50 Cent outsole the Beatles ~60th top album of all time. But the Beatles have nine more top albums of all time above the 30 mark. Not to mention The Beatles “The Beatles” album currently standing in 9 position in the Top 100 Best Selling Albums of all Time.
