I’ve known about the stats on this car for some time now and they are downright impressive. 0-60 in 3 and 0-100 in, IIRC, 6 seconds. That’s amazing.

However, burning 5 litres of fuel a minute translates to approximately 1.2 gal/fuel per minute (max revs). Most cars hold a 12-20 gallon tank, so at most you’ll get an hour per tank out of this car. Even at it’s top speed of 250mph, you’ll only go 85 miles if you run the tank from full to empty. The pricetag may be high, but the fuel costs are even higher.

Why would someone buy a car this expensive and be limited by the posted speed limits on our highways? Or why would it be legal to create a car that can even top the highest posted speed limit (I believe is 75 MPH)? Or maybe so the local governments can get some money from speeding tickets. If there are speed limits, then car designers should also be limited to the max speed limit in the country!!!

Well seems like some people dont like this beauty, i cant understand why!!! 0-300kmh in 14 seconds, no other production car can top that. its top speed is above 400kmh beating the mclaren F1’s “meagre” 384kmh top speed. its braking system is specially designed to keep da discs extra cool and stop da car from 400kmh in 10seconds. its brilliant, if i had 1 id probably kill myself in it lol its crazy fast… but id be dying in style

I personally can’t afford this car, and I am still in High School. But I don’t understand why you people feel the need to flame it because you can’t afford it.

Though I would be very charitable if I had that much money, why should I spend MY hard earned money on people who aren’t making any? Shouldn’t I spend it on myself?

I really do like this car, it is kinda ugly, but if I had the money I would definatly try to get one. So all you people(including me) who can’t afford this, no need to diss it. It is truly a great car, and that is a fact, not an opinion.

In general, this car is amazing, I believe it has 16 cylinders, which is more than I have. 1001 horsepower, the Bugatti name, and 16 cylinders is well worth the price.

No matter how hard you try your ram or STI will not be as powerful accross the board as this thing, it will also never handle the same.

considering the amount of power the veyron has is just one aspect to look at….. having the HP to defeat drag and get up to 253mph is just unbelievable….. i kno for a fact that it would be impossible to have a pick-up truck be fast than the veyron AND be street legal in the states…. over 1000hp and ur screwed… and i’m pretty sure a pick-up truck at 200mph would be quite unstable and just as aerodynamic as the Sears Tower…. even if i had the money to buy a veyron, i wouldn’t (insurance reason?). at first i didnt like the looks, but it’s grown on me and i think its a badass vehicle… nothing compares to it and nothing ever will, even if custom built.

i know you’re not going to get a desil pickup to the same top speed, that’s why i said “down the quater”. think quarter mile. i imagine with the right suspension a truck could be stable at 200, but aerodynamics would defeat it easily. trucks are as aerodynamic as barn doors. and street legal? who needs to know it’s not street legal. i’ve hacked off catalytic converters and hollowed them out too. nobody knows, nobody cares. oh, wait, i forgot all the lucky people who have vehicle inspections. sux for you. the veyron is just another car for the rich people to try to think they’re above the rest of us when they drive. who needs that much go if you need to go to montana to use it all? i think i’ll stick to building fast cars out of weird stuff.
