Yesterday, we reported that Infiniti would unveil a new G35 coupe and sedan at the New York Auto Show in April (to go on sale in the fall of 2006). Today, Edmunds is reporting that the company will unveil a coupe concept as a possible basis for the new G35 at the Detroit show in January. A source said the coupe concept would not have a V8 engine. Today’s report indicated the G35 redesign will be “major.” Jed Connelly, senior vice president-sales and marketing, has been quoted as saying the design isn’t too radical of a departure from the current G35.
