Project Kahn has announced a kit it calls the “Mercedes KSLR conversion.” The tuner aims to “fill the void in price and prestige between the SLR and the SL” by providing “the styling of the SLR with the everyday practicality of the SL.” Essentially, the kit gives the SL roadster some of the design cues from Mercedes‘ SLR supercar, including its unique hood and grille design. The KSLR comes with upgraded leather work inside, and a quad exhaust system that improves sound and performance. Project Kahn lowering springs also provide both a sporty stance and ride. A number of upgrades are available from Project Kahn for the Mercedes SL including three models of the Kahn wheel Range, available in 20″ diameters and 8.5- to 11-inch widths.
