Every fall, a handful of wealthy Americans wait with anticipation for luxury retailer Neiman Marcus to announce the special-edition vehicle that will be launched in its annual Christmas Book. For those lucky few, the 2009 holiday item will be a $105,000, limited-edition long-wheelbase 2010 XJL sedan.
Just 50 of the supercharged sedans will be made available. Each features a unique Celestial Black metallic exterior with a navy and ivory leather-trimmed interior. Special edition 20-inch alloy wheels, illuminated sill plates, a trunk finisher and badging set the Neiman Marcus edition apart. The car also comes with a full matching set of navy blue luggage that was custom-tailored to fit in the XJL’s trunk.

Jaguar says that the XJL marks the third Jaguar selection for the Neiman Marcus Christmas book; in 1969, an XKE Grand Touring coupe was on offer, and in 1997, an XK8 convertible was available.

Neiman Marcus editions don’t typically last long before they are sold out, so if you’re interested, make sure to mark your calendar for noon EDT on October 16 to call 1-866-524-6963 to reserve yours.
