Nobody in the world buys high-end luxury cars like the Middle East, so it should come as little surprise that Rolls-Royce has chosen Abu Dhabi for its largest global showroom.

The oil rich capital of the United Arab Emirates, once the unchosen destination for Garfield’s dog pal Odie, is now home to a nearly 10,000 square foot showroom capable of displaying five cars. The showroom also boasts a coffee bar, which Rolls-Royce hopes will become a gathering point for its exclusive owners.

The dealership is located in Abu Dhabi’s especially luxurious Umm Al Nar neighborhood.

The showroom was officially opened this week by Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös, who took the time to unveil one of the 100 Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection Phantom Drophead Coupés. The new model is expected to be especially popular in the Middle East, which accounts for about 15 percent of Rolls-Royce’s global sales.
