most of you people would never buy this car no matter what it looked like you would still find something to bitch about. the 09 tl has nothing to due with a honda accord. the old tls had the same platform that was it. nothing added. different engine, trani, leather, ride. you name it. the 09 is all new and rides better than most bmws. looks are one thing but ride and quality are another. these people who say over priced honda accord are the same people who bitch about everthing anyway. does not matter what it is . they also have no clue on cars . due your homework and drive one before you make a decision. half these people just love there vw because it has the same platform as a audi. as far as the grill goes thats what people said about the mdx. but it sold very well.

wow, I love the way LLN totally excused the styling and then had the nerve to suggest the TL isn’t too different from the CTS from a styling perspective. The CTS looks far better than the TL and the reaction to the CTS when it debuted was MUCH more positive than the reaction to this car. Also, just making a car different doesnt mean it’s been improved. The old TL was a good looking car even if it was somewhat conservative. This car is ugly. Why did the new model need to stand out when the old car was successful? You dont see them making radical styling changes to the Accord or Camry for good reason.

i bet you they’ll redesign the grill in a year. it happened when subaru tried out the toilet seat shaped grill on the tribeca, and soon changed it.

Still no way. I’ll be at the Honda store putting my money down on a 6 speed, 3 pedal Accord. If all I have to give up is 12 horsepower and small children pointing at the nose of the car and yelling ‘Pikachu’, so be it.
