Alfa Romeo has issued a statement regarding the 8c Spider’s two award wins at the 2006 Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance. The 8c won the Villa d’Este Design Award and the BMW Group Design Award. “With its ever-popular sporty line, Alfa Romeo has once again scored top marks by appealing to the imagination and the desires of an enthusiastic, discerning public,” the company said. Recently, Alfa has done a lot to draw attention to the 8c, including highlighting the concept on the front page of its website.
