Alfa plays up 8c Spider win

Alfa Romeo has issued a statement regarding the 8c Spider’s two award wins at the 2006 Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance. The 8c won the Villa d’Este Design Award and the BMW Group Design Award. “With its ever-popular sporty line, Alfa Romeo has once again scored top marks by appealing to the imagination and the desires of an enthusiastic, discerning public,” the company said. Recently, Alfa has done a lot to draw attention to the 8c, including highlighting the concept on the front page of its website. Wih the 8c now believed to be headed for production, could an announcement be coming soon? Image after the jump…

Well Mercedes is already here so we already have the least reliable. The TVRs cant pass crash tests due to their sick designs – of course they’re electrics are typically British and build quality questionable but still WAY nicer than a plasticky Viper to me in that cat. TVRs may be unreliable but those cars have fresh, innovative bad-ass yet smooth designs and BALLS underneath the hood-something you can definitely appreciate.

I haven’t really liked Alfa design before… But this is absolutely one of the BEST looking cars ever!

That car will crush the competition easily, Alfa is in a class above BMW and Merc. Its an Affordable Exotic. Not an Americanized Luxury. People keep mentioning the hay day of alfa not being reliable, Hello people that was really in the early 70’s to early 80’s. You cant take it to Pep Boyz for repair. its an exotic not a checy Hellooooo.
