Leftlane brought you an illustration of a future large SUV expected to come from Italian automaker Alfa Romeo and although no one has yet to spy an actual prototype of that vehicle, there are now rumors of another utility in the works.
The second utility vehicle will slot in one segment below the expected large Alfa SUV. Instead, it will compete with the likes of the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. This model is for now believed to be referred to internally as the C-SUV and, according to a report from Autocar, it should debut next year.
This new, smaller SUV is reportedly destined for dealers in both Europe and North America. Production will take place alongside the Jeep Grand Cherokee at Fiat’s Mirafiori plant in Turin.
