Any ideas why all companies are down with sales? Those same people already bought or lease new cars last year. They can’t lease or buy again till the lease is up at least 2 years or sell the cars in few years before getting new cars! DAMN, peeps are MORONS!!!

In two years (where the leases are up) the sales will peak and then drop again in 3 to 4 years. SIMPLE!!!

Buying all these British brands was a huge short sighted mistake, but leave mercury alone you idiots, Ford needs something for middle income buyers who don’t want a lowly ford but can’t handle the payments for a Lincoln or Jag. Product, product, product will save ford, not committees or advertising.

I think no one is surprised at this…. Volvo has a facelifted XC90 and the new S80 to come out as well as the C30. As for Ford, well….they have yet to get their act together. And they can’t keep relying on the Mustang, because it sales will begin to falter. THEY NEED TO REPLACE THE FOCUS! How many times must we all go on about that. AND NO NOT ANOTHER FACELIFT! Please Ford get smart and spend the cash to bring out the C1 Focus before there is no cash to help you on your “Way Forward”. Land ROver sales dropping is not much of a surprise either. The LR3 is nice but is soooo much more expensive than the DIsco II was, and as for Mercury and Lincoln…Hmmmummm(clears throat) well we all know why their sales are down, no products that anyone wants….
How were Mazda’s sales? Anyone know or am I overlooking it there in the article….
Well Ford needs to get their ass in gear before the gears tear up and leaves them stranded to only end up in the car crusher….

welll LLN conveinently ommited the mention of the employee fire sale last year… but I agree this was a bad month..

One interestig tdbit from the release is the breakdown of fleet and retail sales for the Fusion/Milan/Zephyr – they together had 3% fleet sales last month – that is extremely low.
