Christian-conservative values group the “American Family Association” has renewed its promise to boycott Ford products if the automaker goes ahead with plans to advertise in gay publications. “Unfortunately, some Ford officials made the decision to violate the good faith agreement,” AFA Chairman Don Wildmon said in a statement Thursday. “All we wanted was for Ford to refrain from choosing sides in the cultural war, and supporting groups which promote same-sex marriage is not remaining neutral.” Because Ford broke the agreement, Wildmon said the option of another boycott is “very much alive.” Recently, Ford pulled advertising targeting gays and lesbians citing budget reductions, but critics said the move was done under pressure from the AFA. Many gay rights groups complained about the decision, and Ford subsequently said it would resume publishing gay ads.

I am a Christian and as such I do not attempt to impose my religious views on others. That cannot be said for the American Family Association. I am pleased to see Ford is supporting religious freedom. After all, that is why we came to Plymouth Rock in the first place. Good for you Ford Motor Company.

Weather or not Ford advertizes in gay publications will have no influence on my purchase of a new car.

The American Family Association is a group of ultra-conservatives, calling themselves Christians, who pursue an agenda of intolerance and hatred toward those who disagree with their narrow view of what is culturally acceptable. If they were really Christians, they would promote tolerance and love of all mankind, as did Jesus.
I will not allow my automobile buying decisions to be influenced by organizations such as this.
Are these the same people who, in another era, opposed the right of black Americans to vote or to sit in the front seat of the bus?

Okay,so homosexuality has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Ford and their cars,so why throw it up into the sales?!?!Ford makes an outstanding pick-up and this pro-queer stance is putting a real ugly smear on my cognitive image of the F-150.
