An afternoon at the 2006 Fleetwood Country Cruize In

This weekend we had the opportunity to attend a special fundraiser car show in London, Ontario, Canada. The event — the 2006 Fleetwood Country Cruize In– was held at the estate of Steve Plunkett to raise funds for the Jesse’s Journey charity. There were 1,000+ vintage cars, rods and customs vehicles on display. We weren’t able to photograph everything, but we did snap 66 shots of some highlights. Notable cars include Cadillac Sixteen Concept, the original Batmobile, James Bond’s DB5, and more. Gallery after the jump…

Not a place for a car enthusiast, just investors who use our hobby for monetary gain and ridicolous ideas of “prestige”.

yeah… car enthusiasts dont like the cadillac sixteen, shebly cobras, a gt40, covettes, old-school muscle cars, a tentful of tables (ok maybe that one)…
right.

I agree. The Sixteen would show Cadillac is capable of building a car at the level of the world’s best. That would earn them a lot of credit and would help them sell their lower priced cars.

Wasn’t Steve Plunkett the lead singer of the 80s band Autograph? Is this the same guy?

I’ve seen the Cadillac Sixteen in person and it’s amazing. i think one of the production concerns is the size of the car, i dont think it would be easy to drive on any public road, it’s about as wide as the lane.

The Sixteen is Cadillac at it’s best! Huge, Powerful, the dominating American. In happier days, it would have been in the driveways of Hollywoods dapper guys, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, and Dean Martin.
