For Hyundai, SEMA 2011 is the perfect opportunity to draw attention to an all-new model in its lineup, the Veloster, which is why the Korean automaker has partnered with ARK Performance to deliver a highly modified example of what the new coupe can be.
The list of mechanical upgrades is impressive, but intended to produce a car that is obtainable and streetable for the average buyer:

Hyundai says the net result of these mods will be a total of 210 horsepower.
Of course, a SEMA-worthy car doesn't have just "show" or "go," but a combination of the two. For that, ARK Performance will be adding JPM Coachworks Custom OEM seats with Alcantara for the shift boot, dashboard, headliner, doors and visors, as well as custom JPM floormats. An Adam Perry custom audio setup with Image Dynamics Q450.4 and Q600.1 amplifiers, XS65 component speakers and ID10D4 subwoofers.
Other interior cosmetic touches include ARK racing pedals, DSG Performance/Password JDM Shift Knob,
DSG Performance/SUN Automotive Eco, Hyper Voltage System GT, Gauss System, Hot Inazma Pocket, Automotive Hyper Ground System and Jason Noren Fabrications Custom Rally Cage.
The extensive list of mods and added parts isn't done yet, with ARK CFX Designs: front lp, side skirt, rear bumper and grille, along with ARK SFX wide fenders front and rear and a rear wing mount. There will also be OneEighty custom taillights, headlamps and fog lamps, as well as Rally Armor custom mud flaps and mounts, Yokohama Advan RZ Gunmetal x5, Nitto Nt05 x5 and custom paint by Beyond Autobody.
