Up-start automaker Artega has unveiled its Artega GT. Designed by Henrik Fisker — a former Aston Martin designer — the sports car uses a rear-engine configuration and measures in at 157 inches long and 74 inches wide. The Artega GT is powered by a VW-sourced 3.6L V6 mated to a DSG transmission.
Power output has not been released for the Artega GT, although the automaker claims the car can accelerate from 0-60 in under five seconds on its way to a top speed north of 155 mph.
The Artega GT is slated for European production with an estimated price tag of €70,000.

Looks like a next-gen Cayman or a true successor to the 911.

F430 and a Cayman mated. It would be pretty cool to own such a rare car.

It is an intriguing design. The top pictures with some chrome look way better than all the paint and powder coat. It looks too ricer-ish with no chrome. Otherwise, it is a neat design. It might even be kinda fun to drive.

The headlights and hood are VERY Much a Porsche ripoff. Had Fisker added some creases / character lines over the fenders and put an angle or two in the headlight housing it wouldn’t even be noticable how much the front end apes from Porsche.
That being said, I think the rest of the car looks very original and the entire shape of the car is downright gorgeous!
The interior looks a little dated and not very ergonomic though.

From the side view especially, it looks like a 350Z and 430 mated. Somehow it found a Porsche 911 nose that a giant came over and smashed in the middle with his fist.
I expected more from Fisker. It resembles too many recognizable shapes out there to be original in my book. If I had the money, I’d pass.

I think it’s Exiged sized and is much prettier than the Lotus. The car looks good in white where bad lines cannot hide. I like it, but could do without the DSG.

Fisker just started his own car company - Fisker - why does he design cars for other companies still? This car looks great and would have been a nice addition to the fisker lineup

Has anyone else noticed that the window cranks are recessed into a “pocket”? That means you’d have to work them with your fingertips. It appears to be a major ergonomic goof.
Overall though, I think I like it. The interior is simple, but nice. I like the colors on the inside as well.

The influences for this design are obvious - the Aston, a bit of F430 and some Porsche Cayman. But the rear engine configuration is a bit strange and the interior is an afterthought. Keyword: next.

Fisker is not known for his original ideas. I wonder why Spyker hasn’t hired him yet.
