Aston Martin has taken the wraps off a stunning new production car, dubbed the One-77. As one might infer from the car’s name, Aston’s newest supercar will see a limited production run, with only 77 units being built.
Under the One-77’s sleek hood lies a 7.0L V12 with a yet-to-be-disclosed amount of power. However, Auto Express speculates that the new 7.0L powerplant will be powerful enough the rocket the One-77 from naught to sixty in just 3.5 seconds, on its way to a top speed in excess of 200 mph.
The One-77’s body will reportedly be crafted out of aluminum, while its chassis will be made completely from carbon fiber.
Aston plans to have the car completely finished by the end of this year, with sales starting in late 2009. The One-77 is expected to carry a price tag of £1 million.

With these larger pictures I notice much of the entire front end looks a lot like a mix of current and last gen Corvette. This car, which indeed is very lovely, is nothing but a mix of Shelby GR-1, Chrysler Firepower!, and Corvette shapes with a few Aston trademarks thrown on. Overall I like it, but I’m kinda disappointed.
It looks like slow automotive news day. LLN started regurgitation of yesterday not-news bright and early.
I’m glad they stuck to the signature design. I think all those cars mentioned were probably originally copied from AM’s design. I’m excited to see this thing, should be great.
sweet….I’m pretty sure this will be my new favorite car. Awesome looks with performance that should hang with the fastest cars in the world…perfection if you ask me
If you’re not an idiot you would realize that the Shelby GR-1 and Chrysler Firepower Concepts debuted long after Aston Martin started using this shape. Remember the first sketch of the DBS, this is more like the production version of that sketch I believe.
I see a bit of C6, especially on the front half. Maybe someone will make a One-77 kit for the ‘vette. LOL
Once again, LLN posts a “news” item, allows people to comment on it, then deletes all the comments when they add two “new” pics (actually just enlargements of the same photo) less than 24 hours later. Thanks for wasting my time coming up with something thoughtful to say, ***suckers.
