One last Aston Martin Vanquish will roll off of the company’s historic Newport Pagnell factory tomorrow. Aston Martin has built cars at the factory, located in Milton Keynes, England, since 1954, but the company will move all production to a different facility when Newport Pagnell closes.
In 2003, Ford consolidated its British luxury brands into one facility in Gaydon, Warwickshire. The modern facility builds Jaguar s, Land Rover s and Aston Martins, as well as serving as home to the British Motor Heritage Centre. It is unknown what will happen to the facility in the long term now that Aston Martin is owned by a consortium and Land Rover and Jaguar are up for sale.
