Why are people comparing it to the 911? I don't usually think of them as competitors, the Aston being heavy, fast and luxurious and Porsche being sporty. Hell driving down into the fancy part of where I live with the fancy shops I saw four 911s today that were all 2004-2006 and probably at least ten more that were from the late 80s through late 90s. The four new ones are saw today were two Carrera 4S in silver. One 911 Carrera S in black. And one Turbo model. I only saw one Aston and then only for a moment as it sped away. The porsche has history, engineering brilliance and handling not many cars can match. It may not look as good as this, but when you drive one you feel the difference between them. It should have been more driver focused and could have done with a more responsive engine then just using a tuned Jaguar engine.
