cool looking dash…it must be highly unpractical, but looks good…and no cabriolets for me please. the coupe, hatch, crossover (i don’t know how they’re calling it) is just perfect.

Oh lord. The exterior is gross, of course the interior is awesome, it’s Audi after all, but as a whole, this thing is ugly.

Ugly as absolute hell. I usually like Audi vehicles, but this one is damn ugly.

We’ve seen SUV convertibles before: original Jeep, anyone? More recently, we have the first-gen Bronco and Blazer both with removable hard tops. And the Suzuki Samurai with a soft-top. Even more recently, there’s the little-known first-gen RAV4 3-door convertible. Hell, there’s the just-released Wrangler. SUV convertible a new concept? I think not.

What’s so great about the interior? It looks terribly non-functional.

Technically there reviving a sgment not inventing it. Convertibles: Land Cruiser, Blazer/Jimmy, Scout, and Jeep.

The grill simply doesnt work without the horizontal bar for the license plate.
Vertical lines going all the down looks boring and odd.

O.K. This would certainly fall under the category of “answers to questions nobody asked”. People buy convertibles because they want a sleek car to cruise in while enjoying the open sky. They don’t want an SUV wannabe product or particularly care to convey that image. If you want that type of vehicle (or convey that type of image), then you buy a Jeep Wrangler.

Just another example of a bored German luxury brand creating silly vehicle segments to capture attention. Unfortunately, they just manage to make themselves look completely foolish.

Most Audis have Quattro already. Why does this need to be jacked up in the air with nubby tires? Stupid. Be a sports car or be an SUV. I hate all these “crossovers”.

I love Audi’s, one of the best driving cars out there but that grill is absolutely horrible. If that grill becomes the new look for Audi, I will stay away from buying one.

Now Audi has its Chris Bangle. Good for Mercedes and other tastful brands. This car is horrible.

I have to say the Interior and the centre console look awesome. As foir the exterior this looks like something HITLER would buy

Why does this “car” remind me of the old Saturday Night Live commercial: “It’s a floor wax!” “It’s a dessert topping!” “It’s a floor wax AND a dessert topping!” Maybe I’ll like it more when they add a third row and a snowplow attachment.

An interesting design study that might be successful in Europe but definitely not for US.

I’ve never ever said this about an Audi, but . . . That’s awful, really awful looking.

I think that as a regular quattro this might have some appeal, but this mock off-road bull**** is more of a turn-off than the Deanster Momma in crotchless undies, and both remind me of an ugly fish from the front: that grill needs a rethink.

This is really a similar idea to the awful PT Cruiser cabrio, but with a lift and some poser tyres. Has got me wondering what the FX35 would look like with a drop top though…
