Plus, I think Audi puts something like 4 ball joints at each corner which can make for a really pricey suspension setup if something needs to be replaced. I do remember the last A6 was ranked one of the highest, if not THEE highest in ownership costs according to multiple sources. The VW coil pack gremlin also used to plague the A4 model as well.
